At Cheeze Kurls, we craft tried and true snacks – from our famous Cheeze Kurls to other fried, puffed, extruded or air-popped specialties.
Extruded Snacks:
Puffed and extruded snacks include anything involving combined ingredients that are either pushed through a mold or precision cut. Examples include our corn puffs, veggie straw snacks, pork rinds, cheese snacks (puffs and curls) and much more.
Extrusion is used in food processing, forcing mixed ingredients through an opening in a perforated plate or die designed to produce a required shape. Then the extruded food is cut to a specific size by blades.
Collaborating with the team at Cheeze Kurls gives you the control while utilizing our experienced R&D team of innovators. We work with several die manufactures to help you create the specific shape and size extruded snack piece you are looking for.
